Getting to Savannah...

Interior of SAV/HH International Airport

By Plane:

Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport

400 Airways Ave, Savannah, GA 31408

Located just outside of Savannah in Pooler, SAV is a great option for those who would like to fly in. It is a 19-gate terminal that has been ranked Best Domestic Airport by Travel+Leisure two years in a row. There are multiple rental car companies located at arrivals. Guests can also use ride-share apps or taxi. As for departing from SAV, there are plenty of TSA agents so the line moves pretty quickly (Adam once left for SAV one hour before his flight took off. Not advisable, but he made it!)

Accommodations in Savannah...

The hotel block is at the wedding venue, JW Marriott Plant Riverside District (Heart Icon).

Additional rooms at other hotels directly reserved by M.o.B. Mary Ann Alger (Pin Icon).

Tips & Tricks

1 / Ditch the car

Downtown Savannah is extremely walkable. There are also free public transportation options (Click Here) or hop-on-hop-off tour buses. Save your money on rental & parking.

2 / Public Parking

If you do end up having a car, there are many public garages that are available between $5-$24/day. There is also street-metered parking with the Park Savannah App.

See Savannah website for more details.

3 / Prepare for Congestion

We're not talking about nose congestion (though pollen counts can get pretty high in Savannah). It's a small town that wasn't designed for cars, so traffic can still be a problem. Avoid the squares for pedestrian traffic as well.
